The lye content is a little high
The tallow is great. The lye is a little abrasive on the skin.

I think it’s fine. I have to use it longer. I used it on my itchy scalp. But I want to try the Emily soap since it is also used as a shampoo. I have been using the Manuka honey creme for itchy eczema. I think I’ll try the Emily Creme and see how that works.

Amazing
This soap is so gentle and yet still does an amazing job of dissolving oil/grease and suspending dirt. I used to use Dr. Bronners but it would strip my skin (and burn the absolute sh*t out of my eyes). Tallow soap for the win!!!

Tallow soap a Winner!
I love the Tallow soap! It is so pure, without any fragrance or additives of any kind. I trust it not to bring on any type of redness, no matter how small. I don’t use it in my face….I have other washes designed for facial skin. Is Tallow soap appropriate for the face? A little more info regarding ingredients on the box and website would be welcome. I googled Tallow soap before purchasing.

Very helpful in recovering from itching after ankle surgery. I broke my ankle on Christmas Eve morning, 2020, had surgery on the following January 4. I was 81 years old at the time. One of the artifacts of the surgery was itch, not just at the surgery site, but all over my body. I couldn’t wear my usual wool socks, although oddly enough I could still wear my favorite merino t-shirts. I tried several soaps, including the 99 - 44/100 pure brand, but this was the only one that helped. Back to normal now but this is still my favorite shower soap.

I think this was exactly what I was looking for. My problem began post op a year ago: broke both tib and fib near ankle on Christmas Eve morning, 2020. I started using Ivory, which quickly turns to mush in shower, and my wife’s Neutrogena and the Dial soap which was prescribed pre-op and still felt itch and irritation. The tallow soap makes the difference. Also was very happy to find your pure cotton socks - I have long worn wool socks summer and winter and could not tolerate them - or other brand “all-cotton” socks. Thanks. I have recommended you to some family members.
Mild & non irritating
Have discontinued use of all liquid soaps & body wash, which has immediately relieved my over 60 dry skin! Am now trying out different natural bar soaps. The tallow soap bar is clean, not irritating to very dry skin, neutral unscented. Prefer lanolin bar soap & this one over others, & would buy this again & recommend it.
Impressed with this soap
I came across positive reviews for this soap and thought I would give it a try. I have bought so many soaps and creams in desperate hope that they will help my dyshidrotic eczema. This soap has actually made my hands feel better. There is less drying and cracking following the blistering phase. I will absolutely buy it again. Just waiting for the unscented one to come back in stock.
