Try Our Pine Tar Soap For Eczema

Pine tar has long been used as a natural remedy for wound healing and is also known to be highly anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory, which is why it's effective in treating eczema, psoriasis and rosacea. In fact, The National Psoriasis Association recommends coal tar and pine tar to "help slow the rapid growth of skin cells and restore the skin's appearance. In addition, it can help reduce the inflammation, itching and scaling of psoriasis." Try our pine tar soap for psoriasis healing and for eczema as well. Use as a shampoo to relieve scalp eczema, psoriasis and dandruff. Try as a body soap to soothe itching and heal the skin.

Love the 20% pine tar soap!
Best soap for the skin issue I have which was diagnosed as psoriasis. The soap has absolutely helped smooth the spots on my skin. It's made the skin super soft and has softened the dryness of the plaques. I am doing many other treatments --supplements, light therapy, etc-- to try and fix the skin but using the soap has had the most instant and wonderful effect. I quickly ordered 2 more. Thank you.

I'm Noticing Positive Changes with My Outbreaks
I've had skin outbreaks in my scalp neckline area for over 2 years now and have tried both prescribed shampoos and medications and nothing that really seems to go after and calm the itchiness and proliferation of the rash like this soap seems to be. I'm barely working my way through the bar though, so only time will tell if it too begins to have minimal effect like so many of the others. I think key to using this is to leave it lathered and worked into the area for a good 5 to 10 minutes before rinsing, and using at least every other day. So far very happy with purchase and no more loading the area up with creams and oils, etc. at night before bed, just wash use daily or every other day at minimum and I believe it will work.

Best soap for my eczema skin
My skin is becoming less itchy when I start to use this soap. It is far more effective than other so called “Pine Tar” soap.
Love this soap - only available here, for Canadian buyers
Amazing (campfire) natural scent. Excellent wash and rinse. Love it.
Amazing for my Psoriasis
I started using this Octoberish 2022, let me just say this..It has worked wonders for my Psoriasis! Flare ups aren't as much/bad as before especially during winter cold/dry months in Canada, it really helped maintain and got rid of the itching almost completely. If your suffering from Psoriasis like me, give this a try! The smell.. You'll eventually get use too, but for what it is, it works. I will be ordering more in the next few months. *Also note to the readers i use this with my prescribed daily foam steroid*
Tallow Soaps — Pine Tar vs Zinc
I’ve had a nasty rash. I tried both the Pine Tar and Zinc soaps. I prefer the Pine Tar. Both soaps lather nicely. The Pine Tar lather, on the rash — especially where the skin was most irritated & perhaps even broken through — caused a slight “stinging” feeling that dissipated fairly promptly. After rinsing & patting my skin dry, I could sense a therapeutic effect. Reduced itching and redness. Plus, the smell of the soap brings pleasant ‘up north’ memories to me. The Zinc Soap lather, on the rash, did not feel unusual at all. Intellectually, I believe that zinc helps eczema; so I think it must have had some therapeutic effect. But I cannot feel the effect, as I can with the Pine Tar Soap. Also, the Zinc Soap leaves a slight residue in the tub that is not present with the Pine Tar Soap.

Favourite pine tar soap, delivery to Canada
Long time user of The Healthy Porcupine's pine tar soap. I've tried them all, and this one is my favourite - great wash, excellent scent. The Eczema Co is the only supplier for Canada, that I know of.
No not working
I don’t think it is your fault. The pine tar soap is not making a difference in the skin situation.

Hi Angela We're sorry to hear that. We'll be in touch via email. The Eczema Company
Pine tar soap
I've been using pine tar soap for decades to fight bacterial and fungal issues both for myself and for my dog. The tallow in this soap adds what feels like a moisturizing effect. Tallow adds many wonderful qualities such as a hard, long-lasting bar, and creamy lather. It has similar qualities in soap as palm oil.
Great soap!
I bought it for my husband, who has been getting tiny patches of eczema/psoriasis on his face. Gone. I decided to use it on my skin. that has no problems except the big one of aging. It leaves my skin clear, smooth, soft. It's my every-night soap now. Never stop carrying it.
I like it
The pine tar soap seems to have helped with some minor itching. I haven't used it enough to know for sure.
