Eczema Socks for KIDS | Remedywear™ (TENCEL + Zinc)

My son has severe eczema. He is almost 4 years old, and he will very rarely let me put any kind of cream or salve on him. However, he will wear his magic socks! When he has a flare up on his feet, he asks for the socks, wears them for a couple of hours, then he says, "They worked!" Used the socks and sleeves, neither one relieved the itching symptoms for my son at night time. Instead he complained that they would make him warm and needed to remove them, as a result the itching was greater.

I felt like the socks offered our son some relief at night. However, the majority of the socks already have holes in them even though we tried to limit their use to only nighttime. I’m disappointed with the price that they did not last longer.

My son loves these! He says they feel the best on his skin. They are a bit fragile in the wash, especially because of the amount of cream he has on his skin at night, but even years later he is still wearing them with holes in them.

Put these socks on under my 1-year-olds pajamas and she stopped waking up to rub her feet together to itch. Win!

My child doesn’t keep socks on. I was very hopeful because some reviews said their children didn’t either but they left these. Well mine won’t, wasted money since they can’t help his feet.

I paid $52 for two pairs of socks that my 15 month old just pulled right off. He has bad eczema on his feet and we really need to cover them to dissuade scratching and for the wet wrapping/moisturizer to work. The socks need to stay on in order to work, though. We have gone back to the cheap Amazon cotton socks he has been wearing. Wr like your yoro naturals moisturizer but these socks were overpriced and a complete waste of money.

I have bought 2 pairs of black eczema socks around a couple of months ago for my 2 years old who has a bad case of eczema. My son started to itch and his skin flared up. At first I just thought it was his eczema acting up again so I applied medication on his itch to relief his urged from digging into his itchy foot and ankles. I recently went to CA for 2 weeks and forgot to bring the black socks bought from the “eczemacompany” store. During my time in CA, I noticed my toddler’s skin was getting a little better and his flare up became more tolerable. When I got home last week, I had him wear the black eczema socks again and in the next morning, I noticed his skin started to get red and he started to scratch like crazy again. Originally, I was going to give this sock a 4 stars instead of a 5 because it was too short which allowed my son to scratch behind his knee and because after a couple of wash in the laundry bag, the socks started to have fuzz/fur balls. But after my trip to CA and the conclusion that the socks is making my son’s eczema to get worse, I have to down grade it to 1 star. For all the parents buying these socks for their kids with severe eczema, if the skin flares up, likely it’s the socks...don’t mistakenly think it’s just him/her going through another episode of flare up.

Huge waste of money, like most things we've tried (and we've tried SO MANY & have a huge daily regimen of things we do to help as much as possible). Way too expensive. Horrible results. Made our toddler more itchy and wake up even more throughout the night while wearing the whole Remeadywear outfit (mittens, socks, shirt, & pants) and we tried wearing for at least a full week every night, since the study showed improvement in itching/inflammation after 3 consecutive days supposedly. No improvement in inflammation. Our toddler always tries to take these off. Wish we could get our money back.

These sounded promising but made our little one even more itchy & uncomfortable. May be sensitive to something in the fabric. So bummed because we were so hopeful. Super soft, stretchy fabric though.

The zinc seems to work. But these like the gloves aggrevate my sons skin so he pulls them off. They are have chunky seams and so much loose fabric strands/bobbling that it’s annoying. I tried inside out but not sure if it works like that.

I bought this socks along with the remedy long pants, the pants works better than the sock as my son often want to remove the sock and still scratching his feet. The other problem is I bought white colour and it gets stain easily, the material is not quite durable as my son scratches his feet quite often and one of the sock got torn.

I am ambivalent. The socks did not make her eczema better or worse.

They are quite breathable which is great but the higher price can be an issue when needing multiple pairs. He has yet to wear a hole in these! We like the height for night as we tuck his pants into them to prevent him access to bare leg and foot skin.

While we haven't been using the socks long enough to notice a big improvement, we have noticed that our son does keep them on all night instead of scratching and taking them off like he's done with other regular socks in the past. We're looking forward to trying out some of the other products to see if they can help him with his sleep.

The socks do appear to be giving my granddaughter relief; she does prefer them over her regular socks. But, they do run small. We're trying bigger socks to see if they work.

Great product it appears to be too expensive for most young couples

The socks last well and have improved my 6year old son's feet he still gets itchy around the ankles but not as bad as before, his hands are so much better and I 100% recommend them although he still scratches sometimes and this leads to holes in the finger tips. But his hands are still in much better condition. 😊

My daughter and I both own a pair of these, and highly recommend them to anyone who suffers from dermatitis on their feet, and I find they also help relieve dry, cracked heels. They are extremely comfortable, warm but breathable, and the elasticity in them ensures they stay in place day and night.
