The smoky smell is present, but I didn’t feel bothered by it at all. I would actually lean towards pleasant. Obviously, more importantly, it helped my daughter’s inner elbows immediately from the scaliness of her eczema. The moisturizing effects of the balm have been amazing and we immediately used up the whole little container. Glad we tried it out and that it worked for us and we will be ordering more immediately.

Soap
I used the pine tar soap. I gave me tremendous relief from my eczema. I would definitely purchase more. The tallow soap is pretty good as well.

Overview
I have not tried the tallow soap yet, but the pine tar soap definitely helps relieve the itching. The tallow ointment has not been effective for me.

The tallow balm is really moisturizing and it doesn’t sting even when my skin is extremely irritated My favorite of the tallow soaps is the pine tar. All are non irritating but the pine tar seems to calm my eczema the most
