The smoky smell is present, but I didn’t feel bothered by it at all. I would actually lean towards pleasant. Obviously, more importantly, it helped my daughter’s inner elbows immediately from the scaliness of her eczema. The moisturizing effects of the balm have been amazing and we immediately used up the whole little container. Glad we tried it out and that it worked for us and we will be ordering more immediately.
