These are fantastic pillow protectors and are very nice quality. The fabric is a very sturdy, textured, woven cotton that washes well. I am very happy with these as they have exceeded my expectations.

This pillow protector is soft yet strong. It has a "canvassy" kind of "snap" to it (like the crisp white linens we remember from decades ago). That kind of cotton is strong and holds up to multiple washes. It may not be the cloud-like softness many are now accustomed to, but for a lot of us, that "snappiness" of tough strong cotton is a definite positive. I expect this to hold up through multiple washings. I'm using it as a protector over a block of organic latex, and then adding a pillowcase on top of all of it. It has such a nice feeling, and it's of great quality to encase the latex.

I think the zipper is poorly placed, how are you supposed to flip the pillow and sleep on that? It feels like 100% cotton which means stiff but cool. If you have allergies then you know that these barrier cases are often expensive and noisy/uncomfortable. This is a little expensive, but you are getting a better sleep for sure.

This has all the preconditions I want to spot in a zippered pillow encasement, as noted above. I bought this brand because it offers zippered pillow encasement with high standards. This is a smooth, soft 100% organic cotton zippered pillow encasement. I found this easy to wash and noticed babies (yes, I have multiple) were comfortable, moving their hands back and forth to feel the cool smooth texture before I put the pillowcase on. This cotton weave is a lightweight fabric, crisp + cool, versus flannel, which is warmer and fuzzier, and jersey, which offers stretch. The zippered pillow encasement handled the drier nicely, so, I have been getting away with not having to iron. I really appreciate the attention to details that were placed in the design and manufacture of these zippered pillow encasement. I do not develop a sweaty head from sleeping on this cotton zippered pillow encasement. I give an enthusiastic two (2) thumbs up. This is a well made pillow protector but it is a little stiff and feels like it was starched. It didn't really soften up a lot in the wash, but it will do the job. I like that it is organic cotton and is not bleached.

This pillowcase arrived and I immediately tried it on my king pillow. The dimensions are correct, but I worry about shrinkage. I also found the cotton to not be very soft; I hope it softens over time. Lastly, the zipper placement seemed odd and definitely minimizes the footprint your face can take up on the pillow. I make a ton of pillowcases with zippers, and can't seem to figure out why they felt this was the best application.

I washed it, came out great from the dryer. Like I said, it's crisp, but certainly not crunchy or horrible and it doesn't make noise at all.

The zipper is not at the end of the cover like I have had in the past but it is a few inches from the end. I will like that much better because I hate to put on a pillowcase and mistakenly put the zippered end of the cover at the opening of the pillowcase and then you can see and feel the zipper. That won't happen with this cover. This cover is a very tight weave which is what is needed for allergies. I really like this pillow protector. The stitching on it is neatly done and the seams lie flat. The zipper is actually not on the end, but partway down from it and well hidden. It's a strong zipper that should last as long as the pillow protector. Although the material looks white in my photos, it is actually an off white color. I read other reviews that stated that the fabric is very soft. The one that I received is quite stiff and crinkly. I'm hoping that washing will make it softer and quieter. The price of this pillow protector is somewhat higher than other brands that give you at least two protectors for the cost of this one cover.

I appreciate that this is organic cotton. That's a big plus in my book. This is well made and zipper glides smoothly. This was immediately washed and line dried with no issues.This is only for one pillow protector/cover so it is a bit on the pricey side but well constructed.
