Pine tar has long been used as a natural remedy for wound healing and is also known to be highly anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory, which is why it's effective in treating eczema, psoriasis and rosacea. In fact, The National Psoriasis Association recommends coal tar and pine tar to "help slow the rapid growth of skin cells and restore the skin's appearance. In addition, it can help reduce the inflammation, itching and scaling of psoriasis."  Try our pine tar soap for psoriasis healing and for eczema as well. Use as a shampoo to relieve scalp eczema, psoriasis and dandruff. Try as a body soap to soothe itching and heal the skin.

Best soap for itchy eczema

I unfortunately have had eczema on my underarms for quite a while. While the red rash has mostly cleared up, the skin is still very sensitive and itchy. The red rash was able to clear up because I changed my diet, and took out dairy and wheat, and also because I lathered up with this soap on a loofah and scrubbed under my arms daily. It went a long way to keep it not so itchy for most of the day. I also used a homemade baking soda free shaving cream as well as MadeOn Hardlotions Soothing Rash cream instead of deodorant. Everything is almost completely healed up under my arms. I love this soap! If youre worried about the smell, it does smell weird at first but I cant smell it on me after I dry off.

Didnt work for me

The smell is strong and not that pleasant. It lathered nicely. It didnt work for my skin, but my eczema is very severe.

Effective! Also smells like a house fire.

This is really making a difference for my painfully dry and cracking hands. In less than a week of use I notice a real difference. Be ready to smell like a firefighter though. And for your bathroom to smell like a campfire. Its no joke. But for me its worth it!

Great!

The pine tar soap is fantastic. Frankly, it is more effective than the prescription topicals I use. I buy everything I can through your store. You help lots of people in ways dermatologists dont. I believe its important to keep you in business for the many people with far worse skin problems than I have.

No not working

I dont think it is your fault. The pine tar soap is not making a difference in the skin situation.

Thanks for the review, Steve! We're so glad to hear that your 100% Cotton Drawstring Boxers brought you some needed relief.
